I have been a desert resident for the past 23 years, but I'm a Chicago native. I grew up in the Windy City and completed my Undergraduate Studies at Illinois Wesleyan University with a major in Psychology. I bought my first real camera with the birth of my oldest son. When my Sony stopped working (sorry Sony) my research led me to become a loyal Nikon user, which is when I truly developed a passion for photography.

I have experience shooting creative family portraits, infant images, weddings, parties, and senior photos. My commitment to coaching young athletes and watching my sons learn to compete in a variety of different sports, led to my interest in capturing those special moments. This has moved my compass and specialization into Digital Art.

What is Digital Art? How is it created?
And why choose me?

First, as a parent, our role is to love, protect, and nurture our children. Part of my nurturing process is using powerful, heroic imagery in custom art pieces to help young athletes, dancers, and young people develop positive images of themselves, that they can see on their walls on a daily basis. Secondly, as a coach, I know the game. I know where the action should be, and when to be in the best position to capture the moment. Lastly, as a male photographer I understand that often we men don’t see the value in professional photography. Check out OUR PROCESS to see how I develop these powerful digital images.

I would describe my wife as a happy pregnant lady. When she was carrying both of our boys, she rarely complained and enjoyed the pregnancy process. Prior to me becoming a photographer, she scheduled a maternity shoot. Let’s just say the photos did not come out well. Knowing what I know now, it is a regret and has actually helped me work with my male clients. So, experience is a teacher and my experience has taught me this...

“A picture is worth a thousand words, but the perfect shot is timeless!”
